AMSTERDAM, October 28, 2026 — Stellantis reported a 65% year-on-year increase in passenger battery-electric vehicle (BEV) sales in its EU30 markets during the third quarter of 2026. Growth reached 93% when Leapmotor sales were included, according to the automaker’s latest quarterly financial statement.

The company said electric passenger-car demand increased in France, Germany and the United Kingdom. EU30 battery-electric light commercial vehicle sales also rose, recording a 46% year-on-year increase.

European BEV sales outpace regional total

Total EU30 sales across powertrain types increased 1% compared with the third quarter of 2025, or 6% including Leapmotor. The company attributed part of that performance to its Smart Car portfolio, where sales increased 36% year on year.

Stellantis reported an EU30 overall market share of 14.8%, down 0.6 percentage points from a year earlier. Including Leapmotor, the group’s EU30 share was 15.6%, down 0.1 percentage points. These are shares of the broader market, not battery-electric-only market shares.

In addition to higher electric passenger-car sales, the group reported a 46% increase in EU30 battery-electric light commercial vehicle sales. Stellantis said its share of the overall EU30 light commercial vehicle market was 26.9%, a decline of 1.1 percentage points year on year.

The company also reported that Leapmotor sales were nearly four times the comparable 2025 level, while separately identifying the contribution of Leapmotor to the European sales growth percentages.

Stellantis quarterly revenue reaches €37.6 billion

For the group as a whole, net revenue totaled €37.611 billion, compared with €37.206 billion a year earlier. Stellantis reported a quarterly net loss of €453 million and adjusted operating income of €256 million, representing a 0.7% adjusted operating margin.

Industrial free cash flow was negative €4.009 billion, compared with negative €4.304 billion in the previous-year quarter. Stellantis reaffirmed its 2026 financial guidance and its expectation of positive industrial free cash flow in 2027.

How the regional electric-car figures are reported

The announced 65% increase refers specifically to EU30 passenger car BEV sales, excluding Leapmotor, and not to the company’s worldwide EV sales. The separate 93% figure includes Leapmotor. No global battery-electric sales growth percentage was presented as part of these regional figures.
