Hyundai Motor UK announced on 29 October 2026 that the updated IONIQ 6 electric saloon is available to order in the United Kingdom. Prices start at £33,240 for the Premium rear-wheel-drive model after the £3,750 government Electric Car Grant. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2027.
Battery, driving range and charging
The new IONIQ 6 features an 84 kWh battery and an 800-volt electrical architecture. Hyundai quotes a maximum driving range of 422 miles for the Premium rear-wheel-drive version, which develops 229 PS. The manufacturer estimates electricity efficiency at 4.6 miles per kWh. Charging from 10 to 80 per cent is quoted at approximately 18 minutes when connected to a compatible 350 kW DC charger.
Hyundai also offers an all-wheel-drive configuration with 325 PS. The manufacturer lists a 0–62 mph acceleration time of 5.1 seconds for this version, compared with 7.4 seconds for the 229 PS rear-wheel-drive variants.

The £3,750 grant applies to the specified Premium RWD and N Line RWD models; the other variants are listed without that discount.
Design and equipment changes
The revised exterior has a reshaped front end and an extended ducktail-style rear treatment. The UK model range comprises Premium, N Line and N Line Evo. Premium equipment includes a heat pump, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, a 12.3-inch navigation and infotainment display, over-the-air software updates and driver-assistance features.
N Line models add 20-inch wheels, differentiated styling and sports-themed interior details. N Line Evo further adds ventilated front seats, a head-up display, surround-view monitoring, remote parking assistance and a BOSE audio system.
Hyundai lists 12 exterior finishes. The manufacturer reports that the redesigned IONIQ 6 measures between 4,925 and 4,935 mm in length, depending on version, and has a 2,950 mm wheelbase.
